Who is Natasha Smith?
Hello everyone!! I am Natasha Smith, the CST-Curriculum Specialist and STEM Coordinator here at Evoline C. West ES. I have worked with students for over 15 years and I have been an educator in Fulton County for 12 years. I received an Associate’s Degree in Education from Georgia Military College, a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood & Special Needs from Mercer University and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology with an Online Teaching Endorsement from Kennesaw State University. Additionally, I obtained my Reading Endorsement and STEM Endorsement while working in Fulton County Schools.
As the CST-Curriculum Specialist, I work with classroom teachers as well as additional staff to support ALL content (Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies) with teaching, resources, strategies, data, etc. I also work to support the integration of science, math, literacy and social studies standards into our STEM Project Based Learning experiences as well as assist with the full implementation of STEM throughout the school.
As the STEM Coordinator, I ensure that our STEM events, visits, showcase days and activities are organized and work effectively for students, teachers and visitors. I also ensure that we continue to have positive relationships with our partners that are beneficial for our STEM students.
